Portable Force Plates

Assess balance, postural control, and stability.

K-Plates enable accurate analysis of maximum force, movement, and load distribution, providing objective real-time data via the Kinvent app to detect asymmetries, imbalances, compensations, and signs of neuromuscular fatigue.

Balance & Postural Control

Our K-Force Plates strength platforms enable the assessment of static and dynamic balance in order to objectively evaluate postural control, stability, and asymmetries. This data is essential for injury prevention and rehabilitation:

Bilateral & Single-leg balance

Assess postural stability and balance strategies during static conditions.

Center of Pressure & CoP velocity

Analyze postural control accuracy and the ability to maintain balance.

Confidence Ellipse

Measure postural sway magnitude to evaluate neuromuscular control quality.

Romberg ratio (eyes open / closed)

Assess visual dependency and sensory strategies involved in balance control.

Landing Stability

Evaluate the ability to absorb forces and regain a stable posture after a controlled landing.

Dynamic Functional Movements

Track movement quality, load distribution, and compensatory strategies, and identify deficits in stability, coordination, and motor control during repeated functional movements:

Lower body:

Tthrough tests such as squats, sit-to-stand, and single-leg squats, assess force production and transfer, weight distribution, and symmetry.

Upper body:

Perform push-up analyses, including the Push-Up Force Test, to evaluate upper-limb strength, stability, and functional control.

Posterior chain

Assess hamstring function using the Bridge Hamstrings Test to evaluate force production and force maintenance during dynamic tasks.

Isometric Strength Assessment

Measure the ability to produce and sustain maximal force, and identify side-to-side imbalances to assess relative strength, asymmetry, and muscular endurance:

Isometric tests

Perform assessments such as the IMTP, ASH Test, Isometric Bridge, and McCall Test to quantify maximal force output and the ability to sustain isometric effort over time.

Asymmetry analysis (LSI)

Identify right-to-left imbalances and strength deficits to guide rehabilitation, reduce reinjury risk, and support safe return-to-sport decisions.

Relative strength

Normalize force output to body weight for a more precise interpretation of functional capacity.
